Tei Shi, known for her airy, layered vocals and eclectic stlye showcases her sweet and delicate voice in a retro, bossa nova record. According to her press interview, Tei Shi was inspired by her desire to follow her intuition over emotions. Tei Shi elaborates,"

PIANO IMPROVISATION ALBUM
XTN embraces the beauty of improvisation by producing her first piano album dedicated to her past.
She knew no better way to share pieces of herself in her most vulnerable state. XTN pressed the record button twice a week completing two improv pieces recorded directly out of her digital piano.
Behind each piece is a story of her past experiences, emotions and strength she overcame to be in her present. Before each recording, she turned off the lights, closed her eyes and allowed her fingers to skate across the keys as she was completely immersed, re-visiting her memories.
